DAC SBS, Inc.
Founded by David Carlson in 2003, DAC SBS, Inc. is dedicated to creating quality software for the market place. Home Owner's DB is the company's first product. It was created when David and his wife Elizabeth built their own "dream home" and recognized the need for this type of software to help manage and operate their new home.
David has over 20 years of hands-on software development experience as well as proven skills to manage all aspects of customer-focused company.
In 1981 he co-founded Enterprise Systems, Inc. a public healthcare information services company that developed, marketed, and serviced an integrated suite of application software products assisting healthcare providers in managing their operations. By 1996 the business grew to over 1000 customers, 450 employees with annual sales of $50+ million. The company successfully issued an IPO in 1996 and was sold to Atlanta based HBOC in 1997. McKesson bought HBOC in 2000.
In 1998 David left Enterprise Systems to become the Executive Director of Arial Foundation, a private 501(c) 3 organization focused on developing educational programs for Chicago inner city schools in the area of robotics, using FIRST (www.usfirst.org) programs.
